She/Her/Hers

Tricia Shimonkevitz, LMHC

“Hi, I’m glad you’re here. If you’ve made it this far, it means you’ve already taken a brave step toward caring for yourself and your mental health. While no one has all the answers, I know that therapy can create meaningful change. I believe growth and healing are rooted in genuine human connection, and I use a person-centered approach focused on authenticity, empathy, and acceptance when working with clients. I also incorporate psychoanalytic techniques to identify how unconscious thoughts and beliefs show up in our daily lives.

Additionally, I utilize mindfulness techniques to help clients slow down, reconnect with themselves, and respond to life with more compassion and less reactivity. I specialize in supporting clients facing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, identity shifts, aging issues, attachment difficulties, and grief. My goal is to make clients feel supported and understood as they navigate difficult emotions and develop skills that enable them to become the best version of themselves. I work with clients of all ages and diagnoses, firmly believing that every client deserves a compassionate provider.”
