She/Her/Hers

Leah Brown, LMHCA

My most fervent wish as a counselor is to hold space to people to be vulnerable with their celebrations and struggles. My goal is for you to feel cared for and empowered during our time. I strive to cultivate an open minded and non-judgmental space for clients to share their most honest selves. I believe people grow the most when they feel accepted and cared for, while also being challenged to lean into their innate resiliency.

I operate from a person-centered modality that centers on relationships based on authenticity and trust, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy, which helps clients gain insights and awareness to their behaviors. I also draw from these modalities: narrative, DBT, and ACT. I specialize in fertility, parenting, relationships and divorce.

My training has primarily been with teens and adults experiencing a variety of topics including family conflict, new parenthood, complicated grief, anxiety, family conflict, depression, loss, and life transitions. I consistently engage in my own personal therapy. I look forward to hearing from you. I am accepting new clients.
