Darrian Dewald, LMFTA
“I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families through their unique challenges. My approach is integrative, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). By blending these approaches, I aim to create a therapeutic environment that is safe, collaborative, and supportive, where clients can openly explore their concerns and work toward positive change.
I believe in a client-centered approach, recognizing that each person is the expert of their own life. My goal is to foster a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to take an active role in their healing and growth. I am deeply committed to understanding and appreciating the diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds of my clients, and I work to ensure that every individual feels heard, respected, and valued in our sessions.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Sacramento State University obtained in 2020, and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Massachusetts Global obtained in 2023. As I continue to develop as a therapist, I am excited to partner with you on your journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth.
If you believe we could be a good therapeutic match, I invite you to reach out. I am here to support you every step of the way.”
