'“I am a licensed social worker that currently works with adolescents and young adults. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness practices to help guide sessions. I strive to create a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings by emphasizing a client-centered and strengths-based approach.
With the recognition that there is a profound impact of trauma and attachment on emotional well-being, I approach from a trauma-informed and attachment-focused lens. This allows for a deeper understanding of each client's unique experiences and fosters resilience and healing.
I understand that starting therapy can be an intimidating and courageous choice. I am here to walk alongside you and meet you where you are at. I encourage clients to take a hands-on approach by leading sessions, with the expectation that I will support them in tying various topics together with their treatment goals. I will support clients with identifying the strengths they already have while also supporting them in developing new skills to navigate life's challenges.
"I am excited to meet you and come alongside you in your journey towards healing and growth. Therapy is hard work but I am a big believer in also making it fun and empowering; both tears and laughter have a place in the therapy room! Please reach out if you think we would be a good match."
